Hybrid Servo Motors & Drives

Hybrid Servo Motor is a Stepper motor with encoder and closed loop control drive.

The operation is similar to AC Servo but instead of 3 phase control in AC Servo the Hybrid Servo has 2 Phase control. These motors bridge the gap between high cost AC Servo motors and Low performance Stepper motors by providing performance near to AC servo and cost near to Stepper Motor.

These motors can run at very high speeds upto 2500 RPM and provide surprisingly high torque at lower speeds. While the system is up to 50% to 70% cheaper than AC servo of the same capacity it can give up to 5X more speed and higher torque at high speeds than similar size stepper motors.

DC Servo Encoder 12V Motor
